Many years ago, I would enter contests if the prize was of interest to me. That time predated the world wide web, and required filling out a form, perhaps clipping a UPC or two, and mailing it away. Nowadays, contest entering is quick and easy, thanks to online opportunities.
Back in those snail mail days, access to unlimited categories of contests didn't really exist. Now, there are countless opportunities to try your luck, and the number of categories seems staggering. There's something for everyone and every interest. For that reason, the listings are broken down by subject matter to make it a little easier.
The contests had only two criteria to meet before being listed in this hub. They had to be open, and they had to be free. Give any of these that interest you a try. You've got nothing to lose. Just be sure to read the rules before entering.

There's lots of opportunity here but I would carefully read the rules and fine print before entering, just in case you find some strings. I could not find a closing date for the contest.

Can you believe it? As a die-hard Beatlemaniac, this is the most exciting thing, ever!
This one is just for us Canucks, brought to us by Dose.ca. There's nothing to do but enter at the contest's website then cross your fingers and hug your Beatles pillow. If you're lucky, you'll win a limited edition, boxed set of the Gimme Some Truth release. That's eight remastered studio albums and some newly compiled titles. You can enter once every day....every day. You know what I'll be doing until November 19th, 2010, when this contest ends.

I am not lucky with contests all I win is a T-shirt or a dollar or two :). I try Circuit City Sweepstakes here, they always have at least one sweepstake a day. They just need an e-mail. Shirley, the KFC contest expired Dec 11, and I'm pretty sure the Regis Philbin (I love this guy!) baby contest is over.

Ah, man! I only just caught up with these two weeks ago. Most of the contests end the end of the year, so I may not get some new ones until after Jan. 1/09. That Regis one isn't mine, but I think I'll play it safe and just delete that capsule until the first of the year.
