Hope This Helps

Hopefully, this hub will save you some time and money. I know that it took me hours to find all these items.

These products are all from Amazon as you can see, but that will save you even more time. Shopping online for your Christmas gifts means not having to go to crowded stores or try to find a parking spot. Heck, some gifts can be shipped gift wrapped.

If I spot more things that I think might go well here, I'll add it.

Happy Shopping & Merry Christmas!

I love these ideas and do see why you were drooling over those pashmina scarves. I'm always looking to save time and money. Thanks Shirley for helping me do some Christmas shopping. What a pal! :) (printing out)

Thanks, Susan!

Dottie, I almost didn't do this - I HATE SHOPPING. It dawned on me that I might not be the only one, so hoped it would come in handy for somebody. I'm going to be doing all my shopping online this year. I just went into a store yesterday to buy a tube of toothpaste and it took me a half hour to get out again because of the amount of people at the check-outs *shudder* I hate that.

You're very welcome, Dottie - anytime. Hope it cuts down on your shopping time.

Looks like you have a head start on writing holiday hubs Shirley! Nice recommendations for Christmas presents!

Shirley Anderson profile image

Shirley Anderson Hub Author 3 years ago

Thx, SweetiePie.  I don't normally do this type of hub, but last night decided that I can't possibly be the only one that would rather poke her eye out than go into a store at Christmastime.  All that stress makes me feel like Shirley Scrooge.

SweetiePie profile image

I do hubs about Christmas songs, movies, crafts, and decorating, which are easier to write about than Christmas shopping in my opinion.

Nice ideas, Shirley. I love pashminas and have a few because sis used to have a boutique in NY that sold pashminas and bags, so since sis is a generous older sister who spoils her little sis, (that's me), she would let me have pashminas and accessories from her shop. :)

Shirley Anderson profile image

Shirley Anderson Hub Author 3 years ago

SweetiePie, people who are crafty and want to make their own Christmas stuff should definitely visit your hubs. You're so good at all of that.

ViolentSun - you are one lucky younger sister! Tell me....are the pashminas as wonderful as they sound? Thanks for coming by and commenting.

You don't find the tree sexy? B.T. all of my belongings are still in crates. I have never found my cookbooks by trying to poke through the boxes, but if I do find my you-know-what recipe, I'll make it a hub unto itself and dedicate it to you. :)

Yes!  They are lightweight and keeps one warmer  than the bulky scarfs, reason why I stopped wearing bulky scarfs to keep the cold out,  when I lived in the East Coast with its harsh winters. I wear not only the scarfs but also the shawls, even here in Oregon where the weather is more temperate but it does get cool in the winter.

Christmas is coming up really fast this year and we haven't even had our Thanksgiving in the U.S. yet which is in 2 days. It is the 27th this year and usually the 21st or 22nd so Christmas will be right around the corner. I don't think about Christmas til after thanksgiving so I will see you maybe this weekend to check out a few things I like here. Glad you asked and Violet Sun answered about those scarves. ;)

p.s. if you do get your hands on some of that regime would you share it with me?

I placed my order. Shirley if you get my credit card # I beg you not to order me any more F-cup cookies....you've sent enough!

btw those axe gift sets are currently unavailable. boo hoo!

Shirley Anderson profile image

Shirley Anderson Hub Author 3 years ago

Hey Dottie, you sure you wouldn't like to biggie size that order with just one more case of F-cup cookies? I'm sure they'll give you a good deal seeing as how you've purchased so many already. :) Do they work, by the way? Sorry to hear about the Axe gift sets, sounds like it was one of the things on your list, too. My grandson loves that stuff.

I've looked through Amazon Canada, but it doesn't have all the neat stuff that the American site does, which is sad. I was looking forward to getting all my shopping done through them and have everything shipped together. Oh, well.

Hey again Dottie, thanks so much for shopping Shirl-Mart! We appreciate your business!! Hope it's all wonderful.

How about a hub for Christmas Gifts for people you don't like very much, but have to get them something, anyway?

Shirley Anderson profile image

Shirley Anderson Hub Author 3 years ago

Why thanks very much, Joe! Hmm, something for grinches you're obliged to buy for but don't really want to....if I had the answer to that, I'd make my fortune. Have you considered booze, cash or gift certificates? Perhaps a season's pass to your comedy shows? Maybe not, if they're grumpy they might heckle you. Oh, I know! Dinner for two somewhere (gift certificate). Everybody has to eat, even persnickety people.

None of this helps, does it?
